Dr Yi Li appointed Lecturer in Demography

Dr Yi Li from the Center for Population Health and Aging at Duke University has been appointed as a Lecturer in Demography and will commence mid 2016.

He received his PhD in Sociology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. His primary research interest is to integrate genetics and demographic studies of population health and marriage. He is also interested in causal inference and quantitative methods.

Hi work is published or forthcoming in Journal of Health and Social Behavior, Journal of Marriage and Family, Biodemography and Social Biology, and Asian Population Studies. Articles for which he is a co-author have appeared or will appear in American Journal of Sociology, Social Forces, Demography, and Social Science Research.
