Call for abstracts and registration are now open for the 2012 Australian Population Association Conference, to be held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, 5-7 December 2012.
This year's Borrie Lecture will be presented by Natalie Jackson, Professor of Demography and Director of the Population Studies Centre at the University of Waikato. Professor Jackson is a PhD graduate of ADSRI's predecessor, the ANU Demography Program. Other featured speakers include ADSRI's Director, Professor Peter McDonald.
We welcome submissions for presentations, posters, complete sessions, master classes, and the PhD 3-minute challenge ($500 prize). Closing date for submissions is 31 July 2012.
Up to ten travel bursaries of up to $400 each are available for PhD students giving presentations or posters.
