Asia-Pacific region demographic data for teaching, research, planning and policymaking
Thursday 25 March 2010

A new database of population and demographic indicators for Asia-Pacific countries will provide a valuable resource for those involved in teaching, research, planning and policymaking. The database has been compiled by Dr Bhakta Guhbaju, Adjunct Associate Professor with ADSRI and previously with the United Nations, based on the United Nations Population Divisions, World Population Prospects: The 2008 Revision. It will provide comprehensive information on the sex and age distribution of population by five-year age groups and demographic indicators for countries in the Asia-Pacific region.

More information on the database.
