Grants for students to attend conference

Master of Social Research students Yan (Lizzy) Duan and Fei Mao have each been granted funding of $500 by ADSRI to attend the Melbourne-Renda International Conference: Social Transformation and Policy in 21st Century China to be held at the University of Melbourne 12-13 August 2013.

Lizzy Duan will present her research on ‘Household formation and composition in China’s ethnic populations: A case study of 6 Yunnan villages’ and Fei Mao on ‘Changes in family and households in China during the rapid economic development: Case study in Heilongjian Province’.
