Iwu Utomo and Peter McDonald

Congratulations to ANU demographers, Iwu Utomo, Peter McDonald and Ariane Utomo, on their recent success in obtaining funding for two Indonesian projects. Iwu Utomo is from the School of Demography and Peter McDonald and Ariane Utomo are from the Crawford School of Public Policy.

  1. 'The Greater Jakarta Transition to Adulthood Survey'
    Iwu Utomo, Peter McDonald and Ariane Utomo were awarded US$150,000 from the Ford Foundation for Wave III of this project.
     
  2. 'Meeting the needs of older persons in Kebumen, Gunung Kidul and Bukit Tinggi (rural Indonesia): Policy approaches'
    Iwu Utomo and Peter McDonald were awarded $15,000 from the ARC Centre of Excellence in Population Ageing (CEPAR) and $20,000 from Andalas University, Indonesia.
