Demographer named to Higher Education Academy
Thursday 15 November 2018

Congratulations to Dr Bernard Baffour on his successful application for an Associate Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy through the ANU Educational Fellowship Scheme.

This recognition highlights Dr Baffour's commitment to teaching statistics with empathy, humour, and enough real-life case studies to reach even the most mathematically daunted of student social scientists.

As a lecturer in the ANU School of Demography, Dr Baffour teaches DEMO8092: Life Course Analytics and is an active researcher, contributing his methodological expertise in survey methods and the analysis of complex data to a wide spectrum of areas including education, sociology, epidemiology, demography and operational research.
