It is now possible to get up-to-date information about Australia's population in a format that is easy to access and understand.

Dr Bhakta Gubhaju has created an Australian population database based on statistics available from the Australian Bureau of Statistics.

It is hoped that these data will be useful for teaching, research, planning and policymaking.

Any comments on the database should be emailed to Dr Gubhaju.
