Analysing Population Ageing: Multidisciplinary Perspectives and Innovations
Monday 13 May 2013

The ARC Centre of Excellence in Population Ageing Research (CEPAR) invite you to their first international conference to be held at the University of New South Wales from 2-4 July 2013.

Population ageing is a global phenomenon. While individual nations are at different stages in the demographic transition, the trend toward an older population age-structure is taking place everywhere. The profound economic and social impact of demographic change is generating increasing research and policy attention.

This conference will bring together leading academics, senior policymakers and practitioners to share new research and industry policy perspectives on the dynamics of the ageing demographic. Fiscal, labour force, family, health and financial questions will be discussed.

Eileen Crimmins AARP Professor of Gerontology in the Davis School of Gerontology, University of Southern California

Michael Keane ARC Laureate Professor at the UNSW School of Economics, Nuffield Professor of Economics at Oxford University and CEPAR Chief Investigator
